Reflexión 40076

Project.

Throughout the months of July, August and September, Olarte gave physical shape to a sculpture that could create a space inside it through which the sky could be seen, and a point of the landscape on the Camino, establishing a visual relationship between the Camino de Santiago and its exterior space. He used corten steel and bronze as materials.

The idea for the audience’s perception is to create an isolated environment where they can experience private sensations and enjoy a brief space of time to see the sky and reflect, feeling as if they were part of the sculpture.

“The idea for the viewer’s perception is to create an isolated environment
in which to have personal sensations and a short time
to see the sky and reflect on feeling part of sculpture.”
